What are Self Colour High Tensile Screws. Self Colour Screws are unplated screws that have a thermal Black oxide finish, these screws are usually coated with a thin layer of oil during production to prevent rusting during storage. These bolts are not suitable for outdoor use as they will easily rust due to having no protective plating applied. These bolts are ideal for high stress applications or for where a high strength bolt is required due to the 12.9 high tensile strength. These are perfect for jobs where access is limited due to tightening by allen key or a hex wrench. Please note orders over 2 kilo will be split into two packages due to a 2 kilo maximum weight allowance. Higher value orders will be sent via a tracked service and may be sent via courier.
